Queen'scroft High School

The School Day

When determining the times and structure of the school day; as a special school, leaders have considered what is most appropriate for the primary area needs of our students. Quite rightly, the governments Department for Education (DfE) do not think it is appropriate to set an expectation for a minimum school week in special schools.

However, we share an overall ambition and are broadly in line with mainstreams minimum expectations set out by the DfE of 32.5 hours per week. A 'typical week' at Queens Croft High School totals 30 hours and 5 minutes

Please contact your child’s Form Teacher for a copy of a specific timetable which details which lessons your child will attend and when.
