KERC Rewards – Prizes and Recognition
At our school, KERC Rewards celebrate positive behaviour, effort, and achievement. Pupils can earn a range of prizes and awards throughout the year by demonstrating our KERC values.
🏆 Form Competition (Half‑Termly)
Every half term, the form in each key stage with the most positive points wins:
- A trophy
- A form prize, chosen by the class
- New games or fidgets
- Extra break time
- A movie morning or afternoon
- A sports session
- A class‑chosen reward
🎡 Prize Spinner (Termly)
Any pupil with fewer than five high‑level behaviours and 10 low level behaviour incidents in a term is entered into a prize draw.
- Prizes include:
- Amazon vouchers
- Sensory baskets
🎁Prize Cabinet Awards
Pupils can be recognised at different levels:

Level 1 – Class Awards
- One winner from each class
- Awarded weekly

Level 2 – Key Stage Awards
- Winners from KS3, KS4, and Post‑16
- Given each half term
- Includes prizes for exceptional moments

Level 3 – Headteacher Awards
- One winner per key stage
- Awarded each half term
- Extra recognition for pupils who earn all four KERC badges in a year
📜 Certificates and Special Awards
- Weekly KERC certificates are awarded to recognise positive behaviour and effort.
- Headteacher Awards are given each term, based on nominations from each key stage.
🛡️ Badges and End‑of‑Year Rewards
- Pupils who collect the required points for each KERC value receive a Champion Badge.
- Pupils who achieve 2,000 GREAT points across the year are awarded a GREAT Trophy.
